Can I Get Pregnant Post Unprotected Sex Despite Missing A Birth Control Pill?

1) I just had vaginal sex using a condom however it split but I'm on the combined pill but on my seven day break. I start my pill again tomorrow, I should be ok? I am also worried that the semen with provoke BV in me so I have used a gel straight away to even out the pH, should that prevent it? 2) After having sex I have a serious burning pain, but I have no bv at the moment but a possibility of thrush as I have been taking antibiotics. I have used sudocream and this seems to have soothed it (an hour or so after sex) Any advice?

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
It's perfectly OK to have an unprotected sex during a 7 day break in combined contraceptive pills, provided you had taken the pills regularly through out the month.This break is meant for allowing withdrawal bleeding.
In case you are a regular user of pill, don't worry , start your next pack of pills as per schedule.
Apart from this you had used condom/ protective gel to prevent pregnancy(which was really not needful.)
So don't be scared.
