Can I Get Pregnant Post Unprotected Sex Despite Missing A Birth Control Pill?

okay so I have been on the birth control pill for almost a year now. I took my last birth control pill on Thursday and I didn't take one Friday. and I had sexual intercourse on Saturday and he ejaculated inside and we had no protection. I just want to know if I could possibly get pregnant or if my birth control is still in my system.

HI,
I understand your concern.
Oral contraceptive is meant to be consumed daily at the same time of day without a break. With break in regularity there is possibility of failure in contraceptive action of the pill.
* So you do have a chance of conception because of missing a pill.Though the drug may be present in your system, It may not be in sufficient quantity to prevent conception.
You can escape the risk in such a case of missing the missed pill should be taken as & when remembered- followed by remaining pills as per schedule. This also needs supplimentory contraception for 7 days.
Thanks.
