Can I Get Pregnant With Irregular Periods?

I am 47 and would like to have another baby i already have three children 11,17 and 18. My periods are quite irregular now sometimes i dont have one for 3/4 months but i had two quite heavy periods in April and May. Do you think it is possible for me to fall pregnant now as i feel this is my last chance now.
