Can I Go For A Rhinoplasty As I Have Blocked Nose ?

hello. i am going for rhinoplasty next week and recently i have a mild stuffy nose, no sneezing or mucus though. It just felt a little blocked,it happen sometimes only and not all the time. Will it be alright to go for the rhinoplasty still? Or i should postpone the surgery? i m just a little afraid that it will cause complications after my rhinoplasty.

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Mild nasal stuffiness should not interfere with the rhinoplasty procedure, but may worsen due to post operative edema. Usually nasal packing is required for 24 - 48 hours post-op. Since this is an elective procedure, you may postpone your surgery by a few days.
