Can I Go For Lasik Surgery Inspite Of Having Normal Retinal Reports?

Sir, I am suffering vision problems since childhood. Doctors say that I have nystagmus on both eyes(active at certain angles). My vision on both eyes were 6/18. I suffered from hypermetropia in my left eye and myopia in my right. Few years back I got RD(retinal detachment) in my right eye due to which its power was further increased. Now,though I am having pity eye condition,I want to ask that can I opt. for lasik surgery. My current dates retinal reports shows its normal condition. Thank you.

retinal detachment requires surgical repair and laser application. may consult retina surgeon for treatment of detachment. for refractive error correction may be given but difference of power between two eyes should not be more then 2.5. then real acceptance is to be tested.
