Hi There
I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that your doctor is right, YES YOU CAN RETURN to your normal physical work/ daily routine. The thing you need to take care is that don't push your body to extremes, whenever you feel tired you stop stop work and take a break.
What happens in ATRIAL FIBRILLATION is That the upper left chamber caled atrium do not push adequate amount of blood in left ventricle due to which less blood reaches to entire body and when you exert too much this amount decreases further. So that why you should take break in between while working.

Hope I have made you understand and have answered your question.

Wish you Good Health
