Can I Smoke Again After Brain Tumor Removal Surgery?

I had a benign brain tumour and it was removed 13weeks ago. 48 hours after my operation I had 6/7 pulls of a spliff and in 27hours I had 8 seizures. My surgeon said don't smoke again....ever! but the nurses said I could around 8/10 weeks after my operation. I haven't had one since but wondering is it possible?

Marijuana affects the brain directly and also has (very mild) increased stress hormone effects. These will be MORE likely to be a problem if the brain is inflamed and the inflammation of surgery would really be expected to be decreased by 6 wk and really gone by 6 months.
That Being Said, many people have seizures with marijuana; even without surgery and surgery leaves scars that increase the likelihood of seizures permanently.
Wouldn't bet on it being safe and seizure free.
