Can I Still Pass My Hair Follicle Test After Smoking 5 Times In An Year?

The last time time I smoked was about 6-8 months ago, and i got at least 2 hair cuts since then because my hair grows quickly. I m an infrequent user, i probably smoked maybe 5 times all of last year until the time i stopped smoking and each time i only took like 5 hits, can i still pass my hair follicle test?

Hello,

I understand your concern. The average time marijuana takes to clear out of the hair follicles is 90 days, however this depends on many factors, such as frequency of use, concentration of THC, and to a lesser extent, on how fast a person's metabolism is.
It is generally accepted though, that marijuana can persist in the hair follicles as long as one year. However, one time or infrequent marijuana users are much less likely to have it detected in their hair follicles.
Five times in a year makes you an infrequent user and while the last time was, let's say, 6 months ago, I'm positive you will pass the test.

Wishing you all the best.
