Can I Take '5-htp' Supplement For Mood Disorder?
Hi, I suffer from OCD and Anxiety. And I am currently taking prozac-60 mg and zyprexa 1.5 mg. I am just wondering if I am able to take 5-htp?? Its a natural supplement for mood disorders etc. Some articles say to take on a low dose, but some say to not take it your taking prozac, due to serotonin syndrome. Many articles say to consult your doctor. What do you think?

If you have OCD than best to take prozac.
5HT supplement mainly use for mild depression.
yes sometime 5HT along with prozac may lead to serotonin syndrome.
prozac 60 mg has excellent result in OCD.
