Can I Take Piriton While On Antibiotics ?
Hi good evening. My son is 7 years old and is on Antiobitics(Enhabcin) 228mg/5ml since Thursday taking it twice a day. He has now , within the last 30 mins developed a rash which seems to be slowly spreading and it is itching. Can I give him piriton?

he has drug reaction most probably as itching and rash is there.
u need to stop the antibiotic and consult doctor to alter the drug
piriton is antihistaminic and can be given in such reaction
u can surely give it
tell him to avoid sun exposure.

I did speak to his Doctor and she told me the same thing, however she wants me to finish the antibiotics for the full 5 days.
