4 days ago I woke up to a painful clogged ear and I wanted to know what was wrong with it, for 2 days I thought it would go away, I bought some eae drops from cvs. When I put 3-5 drops in my right ear, it hurt even more. I don t know if there s a bug in there because I feel like there s movement going on. I went to ER but they couldn t determine what was wrong because I had to much ear wax that was impacted into my ear canal, and this never happened to me before.
Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum The hair inside the ear and chewing makes the wax move from inside to outside. Any imbalance in the working of this mechanism can cause ear wax to accumilate and cause problem. The symptoms you have mentioned can be due to impacted wax. Usually we prescribe wax dissolving ear drops for 2-3 days and do syringing for the removal of wax after that. Please visit your ENT doctor for the above mentioned procedure after your ear wax becomes soft by the wax dissolving solution. All the best.
