Can Impaired Vision After A Stroke Be Restored In The Long Term?
My father got paralasis stroke in the month of December, 2010. He took treatment at Kamineni, Hyderabad. Initially left leg and hand had more weekness. He has been taken phsiotherapy almost 2 months. Now he can able to walk and lift some weitht with left hand. but he has been suffering with vision for left eye with certain angle. Can he get proper vision and suggest good doctor in banglore or mysore.

rest of care your father is getting is correct. Hyderabad there are good eye hospital. but the present problem your father is having is neurological. he is having hemianopia, which can not be managed by ophthalmologist. maximum prismatic correction can be given. but you may continue consultation with ophthalmologist and neurologist. God may help you.
