Can Infections Worsen Cervical Disc Pain?

I have cervical disc injury but also deal with fungal infections and recurrent impetigo...... Could the severe pain in my neck be worsened if I have a systemic yeast, fungal or staph infection (impetago) or is most likely all the pain from the disc injury?
