Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I had an unfortunate injury in Jan 2013 and was stabbed during a home invasion, the outcome was a punctured left lung. I had a X-ray scan a few moths back and it clearly shows quite a significant portion has not recovered. I exercise a lot and can often feel it a tightness in the chest. Is it possible for this to recover by doing some form of inhalation exercises???
Thanks for posting to hcm, I think you should not exercise more than your capacity as your lung inflammation will be compromised and you can experience breathlessness and if pulmonary artery pressure increases there can be chances of right heart failure. But I think inhalation exercises are fine. If you can elaborate what exercises you are going to do that will be better.
