Can Intake Of 25 Mg Cholesterol Present In Fish Oil Lower Cholesterol Levels?

Hello, I m 63, female, high cholestrol, no heart problem or no high blood pressure. I m allergic to statins. Drs. has asked me to take fish oil to help lower it. So, I was taking Flaxseed oil for a year. Went back to Dr. and again suggested fish oil. I purchased Nature Made Fish Oil and as taking it my husband said he seen if you put a pill in the freezeer and it get cloudy it full of other ingredients. Now reading the back for what s in it I noticed it has 25mg of cholestrol, if trying to lower cholestrol but I m taking it has does that work.
