Can Intake Of Acyclovir Daily Reduce Recurring HSV1 On Lips And Mouth?

I am continuing to experience recurrent HSV1 on my lips/mouth area. I understand that a high acidic diet may have contributed to this, along with food high in arginine, and extreme weather/stress. I am wondering if I am a candidate for a daily dose of Acyclovir? And if I was, what would be the daily dosage a doctor might prescribe for someone like me? I know my diet has played the biggest role in outbreaks, and I am susceptible to them in the winter. I just would like to see if I can suppress the outbreaks with daily medication?
