Can Intake Of Ecosprin 75mg Be Started At The Age Of 82?
My father is a 82 year old, no any past history of Hypertension, Diabetes and Cardiac problem, so Is it ok to start Ecosprin 75 mg for my father ? But he has problem in Knee since 2007. He is taken analgesic sometime. So is it ok to start Tab. Ecosprin 75mg ? Please need to know . Thank you

Welcome to the HCM.
Since your father have no heart or hypertention then why do you need to start this tablet.
Ecosprin helps thining of blood ,and may prevent atherosclerotic plauque formation so prevent stroke or heart attack.And can be started in patients with history of hypertention or high lipid profile at this age.
I would suggest get routine blood tests done first and discuss further wether he needs ecosprin.
