Can Intake Of Coversyl Causes Change In The Rhythm Of Heart?
hi have been taking coversyl 5 mg for three days , i have been told i have a left blockbb with exercise & 3 x 40% blockages to my heart . When i take coversyl my heart about 1 hour after taking it seams to start going into a differant rytham is this normal can last for a few hours than go away & seams to come back in the afternoon ?
COVERSYL HAS NO DIRECT ACTION ON HEART RHYTHM,HOWEVER SOMETIMES IT CAUSES RAISED POTASSIUM LEVEL IN BLOOD WHICH MAY CAUSE SOME ARRHYTHMIA. MY SUGGESTION IS GET YOUR SERUM POTASSIUM LEVEL AND IF POSSIBLE 12 LEADS ECG DURING SYMPTOMS DONE. OTHERWISE YOU MAY BE SENSITIVE TO COVERSYL IF SO THEN YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE DRUG AFTER CONSULTING YOU PRIMARY PHYSICIAN.
