Can Intake Of Lonart & Agumentin Drugs Affects Fetus During Pregnancy?

Hello Dr,am 35yrs,1.5ft,71kg.Had miscarriage one's at 9 weeks.presently pregnant for 16 weeks.Was tested with Malaria(H) and typhoid too.My Dr gave me Lonart Anti malaria,but i still have serious headache.I was given Augmentin 625mg to treat the typhoid with PCM for the headache.My question is, will these drugs affect my baby pls? Thanks

hi don't worry both augmentin and lonart are safe in pregancy and If malaria and typhoid left untreated can have worse side effects and even cause abortion . your doctor has done the right thing by prescribing you the above medication.they will have no side effect on the fetus . don't worry take care . also take weekly chloroquine upto 6 weeks postpartum to prevent relapse
of malaria.
