Can Intermittent Heartburn With Spotting Be Due To Pregnancy?

i have been having severe heartburn on/off for the last 2 months with heartburn almost never prior to that. I have been having monthly periods but the last two months instead of being 5-6 days they are only 2-3 days and much lighter than usual without cramping or mood swings as usually happens. I have also been falling asleep much earlier than I normally do. I went to my dr. about the heart burn and asked if I could be pregnant and he said no, but I am worried, despite pregnancy tests coming back negative that I am especially since I am on Wellburtin XL. Is there a chance I could be pregnant.

Hello Dear let me answer your query.

If your pregnancy tests are negative, and you have not missed your periods you need not worry about pregnancy.

Very first sign of pregnancy is missing period. You are just experiencing shorter and lighter periods.

I will suggest you to get counselled for your Welburtin XL use and adjust the doses.Sometimes prolonged use of these medicines have effect on your natural hormones responsible for menses.

Also, your heartburns can be due to gastritis. I will suggest use of Cap PAN D SR once a day for 10 days.
