Can Irregular Periods Cause Weight Gain?

Starting to bleed twice a month one in the beginning and one near the end. Tubes are tied. Gain extra pounds from 167 to 209. Stomach poked out. And I sufdr from feet sweelen every now and then. Nauseous at times. But never eat that much to gain that much of my weight

Irregular periods could be because of hormonal changes or some uterine pathology like fibroids, adenomyosis etc. You have swollen feet with weight gain and nausea so I advise you to get blood sugar levels and thyroid profile done. ultrasound to rule out cause of irregular periods. Get Your blood pressure checked regularly.
