Can Irritation In Throat Be Due To Paranasal Sinuses?

Hello Doctor ,

I am Murali , having some irritation in throat , i consultated ENT specialist a week back he suggested me to take X-ray pns. The report shows paranasal sinuses appear clear. then he gave me a medicine alaspan am and rabee-20. is this a serious issue.

yes, paranasal sinusitis, causes post nasal drip or mucous flow down the posterior throat causing irritation, cough and constant clearing of throat, hawking
