Can 'istamet 50/500' Cause Any Reaction To A Diabetic Patient Who Was Previously Taking 'TRivolib'?

Hi Me Mukhari Krishna. DIABETIC FROM 15 YEARS .i WAS TAKING Pioglare G for a long time and recently had to undergone Angeogram.I am 71 yrs..My doctor 4 months ago prescribed me Trivolib 1..Now after seeing my glucos e level fasting 87 ,prandial 187 .,prescibe d a costly tab istamet 50/500. Iam going abroad for 6 months. Now will there be any adverse reaction from this sudden change of tablet. Please suggest me what to do

Looking to your blood sugar level in two conditions it is said to be in well control, for what you have been switch over to another drugs it is question, if I would be your doctor then I would not switch over you on this drug, not because of any other reason but it does not seems like that, you can take this drug "Istamet" this will not cause any side effect or adverse effects but surely affect the budget, have nice dy.
