Can Labor Be Induced (38 Weeks) When The Baby's Lung Development Isn't Complete?

I'm 38 Weeks pregnant & having horrible back pain, not sleeping & allot of pressure in my pelvic area. They did a amnio on me at 37 wks 2 days his lungs weren't developed yet. Do you think I could ask to be induced this week? I can't take no more & thinking about trying something myself.

hi,ideally by 38 weeks baby s lung maturity is achieved.you can go for another amniocentesis, only if lung maturity is achieved you should ask for elective induction of labour otherwise the risks to the fetus will be much higher than the benefits to you.all the best take care.
