Hello,
If tubal patency can be restored through operative laparoscopy, it can be tried, if your doctor feels so. Yet, pregnancy can still happen with only one patent tube. It is true that subsequent to laparoscopic chromotubation or a hysterosalpingogram, spontaneous pregnancies occur as the tubal block is relieved. Also, fimbrial adhesions and bothering cysts can be removed at laparoscopy. One precaution to be followed is avoidance of infection postoperatively as this can cause internal adhesions. Hope this helps.
