Hi, I m 4 weeks pregnAnt and have 70+ lukasytes in urine. Since jan I have been on 6 different antibiotics for urine infections even though there has been no growth when it has been sent of to the lab. I m seeing a urologist in August to see what s going on but what is worrying me is I had a misscariage in April and I think it was due to blood protein and lukasytes in urine. Protein and blood aren t present at the moment. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you aren't having infection but kidney issues. Having this much leucocytes may have caused you fever and pain. Consult a n ophthalmologist as soon as possible. It can increase chances of miscarriage.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
