Hi,

Delay in periods can be due to the hormonal imbalance caused by the pills. Usually contraceptive pills has an effect on menstrual cycle. I advice you to:
- Watch for the next cycle
- Check your hemoglobin levels and TFT
- USG pelvis to rule out any serious causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
