Can Long Term Usage Of Lipitor Cause Fatty Liver?

My grandfather, 88 yrs old has a fatty liver. He is now hospitalized with elevated liver enzymes. He is disoriented and hallucinates. He is on a fruit and vegetable diet and lactulose. Will he ever get better. The biopsy report reads no cancer. The dr told us that it was caused by taking Lipitor. Whats his prognosis?
