Can Lost Sight Be Restored By Replacing The Cornea?
good evening Dr, I have my left eye operated for injury in 1994, with intra ocular foreign body, keratoplasy done, at shanker nethralaya , Chennai, no vision, only can see light, cornea whitish, perlapse to left side during injury. want to know if sight can be restore and cornea once again can be plant, thanks
hi dear thanks for using HCM dear as you have mentioned that cornea is whitish , it might have been a failed keratoplasty though repeat keratoplasty have even less chances of success ,chances of acceptance are there
repeat keratoplasty can be undertaken if other parameters like ocular pressure and retina are OK
chances can always be taken good luck
