Can Low BP Cause Alternate Bouts Of Constipation And Diarrhea?
The patient has alternate bouts of constipation and diarrhea. Can low Blood Pressure cause this? Average BP over past 14 days is 114/61 (Pulse 56). High during the period 139/79 and Low 74/49. BP High 65 Low 50. She is currently taking Benicar (40mg), Labetalol (100mg twice daily) and Amlodipine (5 mg). Suggestions?

Hello,
I think he is having really low blood pressure values. Some of the lowest values may be really dangerous. I suppose that he is having too much if the blood lowering medications.
Consult cardiologist in order to cut the dosage of blood pressure medications.
