Can Low Blood Count Induce Fever?

I have just recently had a hip revision done in August. Three surgeries all together. Was sent home with low blood count after being given units while hospitalized. A month ago I had low grade temps for about two weeks. UTI ruled out, given antiobiotics. Finally overcame that bout. Now, I m having the same symptoms again and my labs came back that I m anemic which I knew that. Taking iron supplement, B-12 tablet, Folic Acid and I m also on blood thinner from two DVT s. Could the low blood count be causing the temps?
