I am a 19 year old female and this past year I have experienced some symptoms that I believe may be due to low blood pressure . For instance, when I stand up often I get a very uncomfortable sensation that I am going to faint and the room turns almost black for a few seconds then I am fine. Also I seemed to be constantly cold or get chilled easily even when I am in area that is not below normal room temperature. Furthermore, I am a runner and was on my university club track and field team and I ve noticed lately that when I run my chest feels tight like my lungs cannot keep up with the running intensity. I ve also noticed lately that I sometimes forget simple things like what I had eaten for breakfast and thought I hadn t eaten at all yet that day. I do not know if this is relevant but also around February this year I experienced a night where just as I was drifting to sleep I woke up in a panic because i felt like I had stopped breathing (this occurred six times) but I could not figure out why this was happening, it took me a walk outside and a puffer (I am not asthmatic but this helped) to fall asleep. Also these past few months I ve noticed a crawling sensation on mostly my scalp and arms and sometimes my legs, I check for any signs of parasites, bugs, etc. but nothing is every there. I ve checked with magnifiers and even had others check and again nothing is ever there. I live a very clean lifestyle but I put everything through the wash several times and cleaned out my room at university dorm room from top to bottom just to be sure it wasn t any bugs, but again I felt this sensation and nothing was there, could all of these symptoms plus the crawling sensation be due to low blood pressure????? (I don t know if this is relevant either but I had pneumonia this past December that I took antibiotics for) -Female, 19 years old, 5 9, 135 lbs.
