Can Low Sperm Count, Motility And Morphology Be Treated With Multivitamins?

I am trying to treat my husband for low sperm count, motility and morphology. I have heard that low iron levels may cause problems here. I thought about buying him a multivitamin with iron added, but I want to be sure he needs it. Why don't multivitamins already have iron in them?

Hi welcome to healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your question.
Low sperm count , low motility and abnormal morphology should be investigated with color doppler ultrasound of scrotum first, as varicocele is the major cause of low motility and low count.
As far as multivitamin contains vitamin b complex is generally not having iron with in them.
Multivitamins are nutritional supplements which provides only nutritional requirements, but don't help in cure the pathology if it's there.
So I would advise to consult urologist.
Hope i answered your question.
Would be happy to help you further.
Take care.
