Can Lump On Pelvis Be Symptom Of Cancer?

Okay I m super nervous, but as I was in the shower. I felt a tender slightly movable lump underneath my skin, on my right side of my pelvic, area almost near the crease of my thigh. Should I go to the emergency room? Does this sound like something serious? I m just afraid of having cancer.

Hi
As per your description, it looks like a simple Lipoma, fat swelling.
But, the exact diagnosis is obtained by FNAC ( Fine Needle aspiration Cytology ).
Most of the cancers are not mobile.
You can go for FNAC or get it excised and send for histopathological examination.
Nothing to worry.
Wish you good health.
Regards
