Can Lumps On The Breast, Half The Size Of Golf Ball, Indicate Cancer?

Yes my sister is experiencing severe sensivity on one of her breasts. She has pain and sensitivity around her nipple. The pain extends under her arm to her back. She just went to Kaiser and she had an exam and the doctor felt a lump the size of half a golf ball. Kaiser took an x-Ray and she s scheduled for an ultra sound on Sunday. What are the chances that it s cancer? Are there any other symptoms that she should be aware of?

A breast lump that large has about a 50% chance of being malignant, but, in general cancer doesn't cause pain or tenderness
