Can Marijuana Be Effect The Surgery?

I'm wondering about the effects of marijuana and anaesthesia. I'm having major surgery and I stopped smoking about one month ago (stopped on 4/21 surgery 5/19) should I tell my anaesthesalogst? will it affect anything? i dont want to wake up in surgery

Marijuana does not have as much effects on this as sedatives (including alcohol). while you should tell the medical people everything, the effects that might be relevant are on the lungs.
