Can Mastoid Sinusitis Be Caused By A Head Injury?

I hit my head really hard which resulted in a bad headache and large lump that lasted for over a week. Shortly after hitting my head I began having tingling and some numbness that was traveling down my left arm. I hit my head just behind and a little below my left ear. Three weeks later I began feeling very dizzy, naustious and my headache had come back. An MRI reavealed Mastoid Sinusitis. Could my later symptoms have anything to do with the initial bump on my head? I am a 43 year old female, my height is 5"4" and I weigh 180. I am healthy except for hypothyroidism and a blood clotting disorder.
