Can Medical Marijuana Be Used For Coccyx Pain?

I have a broken tail bone . I had this for a long time. at about age 20. My age today is 67. I have pain all the time. and had shots in my spine and gone to therapy and also seen a chiropractor. also taken pain meds. this is not what I want no pain meds. I want to now try another way like Medical Marihuana. Is this a good reason to try it. This has been going on for most of my life.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Generally, I do not agree to prescribe medical marijuana to my patients. This is because of addiction and other side effects.

Anyway, if your pain doctor will prescribe to you, then, can take, but ask first about side effects and precautions as he/she knows better your health status.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
