Can Medical Marijuana Treat Pemphegus Vulgari?

Hi my name is Kenny. I have been diagnosed with pemphegus vulgari and wondering if medical marijuana can help?
I researched and found that Cannabinoids help with many of the symptoms.

? Cannabinoids are anti-inflammatories
? Cannabinoids are immunosuppressants.
? Cannabinoids are antifungal, antiviral, and antibiotic.

I also been getting lots of stress and enxioty due to this ilness and also have been told that medical marijuana can help. Im from new jersey but have been seeing a doctor in new york. Do you think any of them can help with the prescription. If so how?

Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to Healthcare Magic.
As per your query you have been diagnosed with pemphigus vulgaris and want to use medical marijuana.
To tell you about pemphigus vulgaris- it is an autoimmune disorder which is due to formation of antibodies in the body against the layer of skin. It can be only treated by long term usage of suppressants especially -steroids.
medical marijuana is NOT AT ALL a course of therapy for this problem rather it can cause dependence problem in you and certain other health problems. So it is better to consult a dermatologist for best guidance of pemphigus problem.
Hope these information will help.

Hi there, thanks for asking. Cannabis has many properties, but the issue is that you cannot adjust its dose. The dose of medications is really important. Also, many of these properties are not strong enough to act as a sole medication. Meanwhile, it change metabolism of many medications. so it is better not to use it. Best wishes.
