Can Medication For Cold And Cough Cause Elevated BP With Loose Stools?

hi doctor my father is 78yrs old. he had severe cough and cold for one week and he went to a doctor and the doctor prescribed some medicines for it. while checking bp it is 190/80. actually he is not a bp patient. the doctorhas given amlong 2.5 mg and after taking all the medicines for both cough and cold and bp suddenly he got loose motion is this the problemwith the medicines or what might be the reason for loose motion.
