Can Medication For Kidney Infection Cause Hair Loss?

Something is eating my hair and cuting it like razor. I found out that I had a severe Kidney infection with a ot of protein in my urine. The Dr. going to run more test to find out about the protein. I did not mention the hair loss. Is this and inidcation of parasite in my body and on my scalp ? Will the chipfloxicin kill it.? Will a laser kill it on my scalp?
