Can Melatonin Contribute To Bed-wetting In A Child And Is Waking Him Up Three Times A Night For The Bathroom The Best Approach?

Hello, I have a 7 year old boy who is currently in his mothers care. She has been giving him meletonin for some time now to sleep and my son is a bed wetter. I dont agree with the method that his mother is using to stop bed wetting which consists of waking him up 3 times per night to take him to the toilet. 10:30pm, 2:30am and 6:30 am. I believe the melitonin has a lot to do with his bed wetting and also believe that waking him 3 times per night is depriving him of sleep. I was hoping for some advice so That I could pass it onto his mother.
