Can Menopause Cause Low BP And Short Breath?

Please type your query here...My wife is pre-menopausal, age 51, who has a low blood count, gets dizzy standing up and out of breath going up a flight of stairs. Blood pressure taken was 112/66, pulse of 80. She is scheduled to have a DNC on Friday, but I think she should go to the ER to get a transfusion? Suggestions?
