Can Menstrual Cycle Be Preponed?

How do I prepone my menstruation cycle?

i am leaving on vacation and im due to start my period on the day i leave.i am on the pill called marvelon.i have been advised to delay my period ,but this usually does not work.
can i start the inactive pill a week before?
