Can Menstrual Flow With Thick Clots Be Indicative Of Miscarriage?

Hi I am 27 years. I had my periods on october12.. had unprotected sex on 18,19 and 26 of oct. After which i got my periods on november 10. But unlike other months the period was with many thick clots. I wish to know if this was a miscarriage as i had travelled a lot during the last week of october. Also i have had a recent miscarriage last month at 11weeks of my pregnancy. So i wish to know if the previous one was also a miscarriage that went un noticed.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a gynecologist and get an ultrasound abdomen to look for any tissues inside the uterus.

You can also go for beta HCG test to rule out miscarriage. If there is miscarriage the HCG values will be in thousands.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
