my cousin usually has severe pain during her menses. 5 days ago her period stopped but the pain has increased to such intensity that she has become bedridden for the past 3-4 days? can pain of dysmennorrhoea persist for so long even after periods are over ?
In general, cramps from menstruation do not continue that long. She should be evaluated for other causes of stomach pain. For instance does she have a urinary tract infection? Does she have an Sexually transmitted disease?
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
