Can Minimal Invasive Surgery For Hysterectomy Be Done While Having Diabetes And High BP?
my doctor told me that I have a uterus about the size of a honey dew melon. he said that i have cancel of the uterus.he told me that i need a total hysterectomy. a total hysterectomy is the best treatment for this condition.the doctor told me that he would need to do an open incision to remove everything. I am a diabetic and I have high blood pressure. I am wandering why I am not qualified for the miniumal invasivse surgery?
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
Sometimes it is needed to go for open surgery because the surgeon needs to evaluate the lymphoidal tissues and adnexae to see any metastatic cancer and remove it there and then.
I suggest you to go for an open hysterectomy and comply with the surgeon.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards!
