Can Missing A Single Dose Of Mononessa Cause Breakthrough Bleeding?

Hi I have been taking mononessa for a year now I left my packet at a friends house and missed a day and I believe I have break through bleeding I had this happened before but only a week before my period this time it happen two weeks before I should start my period with the break through bleeding stay until I get a new packet

Hello,

Generally, if you miss only one pill very likely you will be ok. There are a few cases that breakthrough bleeding may happen (depending on what day of the cycle you are) but most of the cases nothing happens. If you miss a second dose (you take the pill more than 48 hours later than the last pill) then you are at risk of breakthrough bleeding and pregnancy.
