Can Mitral Valve Prolapse Patient Take Alcohol And Marijuana?

i had been diagnosed with a mitral valve prolapse when i was 10 yrs old.the doctor asked me to avoid caffeine but however,of late,i've been wondering if alcohol and smoking marijuana will affect me detrimentally because of my condition.i have had a relapse of the same palpitations, cold sweat, paleness in my face and lips and a horrible squirming feeling inside(which was the reason my parents took me for a checkup in the first place) when i did both together.as a kid i had such an attack when i was stressed out and fatigued in a school long-distance race.
