Can Moving Around With Oxygen Tube For COPD Cause Black Eyes?

A friend is on oxygen fo COPD, and been steady been using it the past week, walking around with a long tube from her room. It gets tangled in in her feet sometimes. She also raises it to smoke every once in awhile even tho she knows she shouldn't. She used to only sleep with the machine on, but after a tornado came through the power was out for 23 hours she was hooked to a small tank. Now that the power is back on she walks around as far as she can with with the long tube. Can this lead to the showing of a Black eye or eyes.
